#DesignerJefferson

I would like to thank all of you for visiting my site and all those who have quietly waited for me to resurface design wise. Over the course of the last 10 years I have reached some of the highest highs like graduating at the top of my class from Pratt Institute, which taught me how to take a mere idea and translate that into garments that represent more than just fashion but who I am as a designer and a person. Interning for Adam Selman and Brian Wood two prominent New York designers that showed me what it takes to start your own business using a BFA in design. An appearance on LifeTime’s Project Runway that I would never take back knowing the outcome that would follow. My design philosophy simply stands on moving forward no matter the obstacle and being able to return back to my origins to find inspiration, motivation and courage to continue. My African heritage has shown me that great things can be accomplished through community and using your resources to achieve greatness. My tribe is my strength and design is my outlet. Musanda Apparel is the sum of all that I have failed, learned and achieved. I am forever grateful for your participation in building Musanda Apparel.
